IMPCO now offers its IMSEAL macro-porosity resin in four different types. A versatile two-part epoxy engineered and packaged for permanently sealing macro-porosity in metal parts and castings, IMSEAL is available as clear IMSEAL-800, aluminum filled IMSEAL-801, brass filled IMSEAL-802, and iron filled IMSEAL-803. Easy-to-use IMSEAL resins successfully fill macro-surface defects and continuous subsurfaces porosity.

Where most spot sealing resins remain only on the part surface, IMSEAL resins are drawn deep within the casting wall to become a virtually indestructible seal unsusceptible to physical shock or chipping. In addition to filling macro-porosity, IMSEAL resins are useful in laminating, potting, and encapsulating applications on iron, aluminum, bronze and other alloy castings. The resins feature excellent temperature resistance, wide temperature range and proven leak-proof capabilities.

Easily applied from convenient, cost-effective premeasured packets, IMSEAL resins do not require reinforcing aids; the cured IMSEAL resins are resistant to most fuels, oils, alcohols, solvents, salts and most other common liquids and gasses.
