| What size castings can be impregnated?
There is no limit to the size of castings which can be impregnated. Impco, Inc. has special techniques which are used to impregnate castings too large to fit into the vacuum pressure vessel. Most Impco Licensees are equipped with autoclaves up to 48" in diameter and 72" deep. Larger systems have been supplied for special applications.
