| Will impregnants vibrate loose or fall out?
No. Most materials used for impregnation are mechanically locked-in and cannot be shaken loose. The brittle types under mechanical impact or thermal shock, may fracture causing impregnation failure. Impco Resins are specially formulated for high-strength and are extremely resilient as well as not brittle. They have excellent physical properties to withstand physical and thermal shock. When sealing porosity within the wall thickness of a casting, the resin is locked in and will remain so for the life of the casting.
