M 24-30 Series

Manually (M) Operated Dry Vacuum/Pressure Impregnation System

For manufacturers with limited production requirements, IMPCO engineers and builds low-cost, manually controlled impregnation systems. The M Impregnation System includes all the components needed to make porous parts pressure tight: a panel with manual valves which control the vacuum pump and impregnation cycles, a jacketed storage tank with cooling coils, cleaning stations, an insulated electric cure tank and cover.

While the capital investment is modest, the M Series Impregnation System provides you with all the benefits of IMPCOs quality and engineering excellence.

Equipment illustrated is an example of an M 24 Dry Vacuum/Pressure System and is made up of the following:

  1. Impregnate Storage Tank
  2. Manual Control Panel
  3. Vacuum/pressure vessel designed to operate from full vacuum to 100 PSI
  4. Counterflow Wash and Rinse Tank
  5. Suspended parts basket is attached to optional automatic casting surger system for controlled washing
  6. Cure Tank (not shown)

Overhead Surger

IMPCO's economical yet well made overhead surger provides the agitation needed to clean resin from the exterior of the casting as well as blind tapped holes and internal passages. Cylinder size may vary depending on weight of basket with parts and stroke length required.
