TAC 90 Series

Totally Automated Controls (TAC) Impregnation System

The TAC 90 impregnation system is designed for extraordinary process control and superior parts quality.

It allows you to totally automate your impregnation operation virtually eliminating direct labor costs.  The advanced automation provided with the TAC 90 Series also allows you to eliminate human error and improve sealing of porosity and overall quality.

Cycles are easily adjusted at the TAC 90's state-of -the-art control panel. Impregnation baskets are transported through the entire operation using a unique combination of components: a patented pickup device called Omni Pick, a programmable hoist and a programmable conveyor, as well as an overhead monorail. A remote visual display monitors all phases of the operation, constantly providing updated status reports.

Available as either a turnkey Impregnation System or as a retrofit modification for existing systems, the TAC 90 System is custom engineered and can be preconstructed to meet your specific manufacturing requirements and specifications.

The equipment in the picture (top right), shows an example of a TAC 90 36" Dry Vacuum/Pressure System designed and built for a US manufacturer of marine outboard engines. Viewed from the remote operators station, parts baskets are automatically fed to the totally enclosed and safely isolated TAC 90 via processor controlled conveyors. Start the system and it runs continously as baskets are presented.

System dimensions are determined by customers required part size and production requirements. The vessel size determines dimensions of all other components and are available beginning at 24" in diameter increasing to 54" in diameter in 6" increments. Baskets are 3" smaller in diameter than the vessel. Basket height is sized to meet customer application requirements. Specially designed systems and baskets are available upon request.

When requesting quotations please specify material, type, size and production volume of parts per shift to be impregnated. Our engineers will be glad to make recommendations upon receipt of appropriate information.
